Williams doubtful for Panthers-Saints
If the Panthers are going to beat New Orleans on Sunday, it appears they’ll have to do it without their leading rusher.
DeAngelo Williams, who sprained his left foot against San Francisco on Oct. 24, is listed as doubtful for the Saints’ game. Williams has not practiced since getting injured following a short run on the Panthers’ game-winning drive against the 49ers.
Williams was also listed as doubtful two days before Carolina’s game at St. Louis last week before being ruled out the following day.
Williams ran for a season-high 86 yards in the first meeting with the Saints. He has 87 carries for 361 yards, well off his pace from 2009 when he and backfield mate Jonathan Stewart each topped the 1,100-yard mark.
Stewart rushed for 30 yards on 14 carries last week against the Rams, and is averaging just 2.8 yards a carry.
The Panthers are relatively healthy as they reach the midpoint of the season. Middle linebacker Dan Connor (hip) is probable for Sunday’s game.

What does it matter if he plays or not. I am a huge D Lo fan but with or without him, it will not be a game changer. Just like when all the writers kept saying it would be big boost getting Smith back from the foot injury. How can you make that a valid point if he wasn't an asset before the injury. I am not bashing the players. My point is that the struggles go way beyond two players.

Justin. You are like an imbecile. True fans want to see their best players on the field. Even if you dont think they can win you want the players to be healthy enough to go out & play. You are a perfect example of this moronic fanbase.

Following the Panther v. Rams game on Sunday November 7, former NFL player Kyle Turley performs @ Whiskey River. That's right Kyle Turley has gone POWER COUNTRY with his hit Album 'Anger Management' which is featured on CMT. Don't miss your chance Charlotte to Rock out with this NFL Outlaw!! Check it out-->

Mr. Moronic Fanbase.....I assume your screen name is self-deprecating, as it should be. Get off Justin's back.....he was just pointing out that a 1-6 team doesn't get there by accident. Why don't you invite the Panther O-line over to watch the game today, since that's all they do on Sundays anyway. Two thousand years don't disappear overnight without the O-line helping them find a place to hide.
The fanbase will be less moronic when you hit the bricks.
