« At the half: Panthers 14, Seahawks 3 | Main | Well, that was different »

Well, that was different

Well, that was fun while it lasted for the Panthers.

The Seahawks woke from a ridiculous slumber, blasting back with three touchdowns in short order to take a 24-14 lead in the third quarter.

The Panthers had dominated the first half, but the Seahawks came screaing back with three scores in 4:35 worth of game time.

They scored first on a nine-play, 96-yard drive to open the second half. Then came Lofa Tatupu's interception return for a score. Then a 84-yard punt return by Leon Washington set up a Marshawn Lynch touchdown.

It was a remarkable turn of events, as the Seahawks looked flat-line and their fans were giving them the business.

The Panthers now can't get out of their own way. Even when Mike Goodson took a kickoff back to the end zone, a pair of flags nullified the chance to grab some momentum back.
