Cam Newton, Kemba Walker team up for Under Armour

Cam Newton and Kemba Walker co-star in the latest Under Armour commercial for its new running shoe, the Spine.

Oh, and there's a guy named Brady in the 30-second spot, too.

Newton, the Panthers' No. 1 pick in 2011 and the Rookie of the Year last season, and Tom Brady have appeared in UA commercials previously. Pretty sure this is the first time Cam and Kemba -- the Bobcats' No. 1 pick in 2011 -- have appeared together.

If Kemba wants to appear in another one, he's going to have to start shooting better.

It also would help if the Bobcats don't go 7-59 (or the 82-game equivalent) again.

Who is Kemba Walker?

he would actually stand to make another commercial if he would stop shooting all-together and start passing.

At least that bum Augustin is gone.

Agreed, IF Kemba Walker doesn't improve his shooting, not only will he won't appear in any more UA commercials, but he won't be starting in the NBA either! I've watched him play in the summer league games and shooting about 30% will NOT cut it in this league! At 5'-11", Kemba CANNOT shoot, and he still cannot get others involved, so what good is he?!? Let's assume Kemba continues to do the only thing that he can do, which is drive it to the basket...I see other NBA teams adjusting to that and taking that aspect of his game away from him TOO! I wish the best for Kemba, but it appears he's unwilling to work on important aspects of his game, which will lead to a quick exit from the starting line-up and eventually, the NBA. Go 'Cats!

@Roll Big Crimson Tide

You are funny. Many of the pro Athletes do this and they will always sign free autographs. He signed a contract to get paid by a sports marketing memorabilia company so he's not technically charging for his autograph, the sports marketing comapny is charging to make a profit. Business 101. Plus you're an Alabama fan, you're not biased AT ALL are you? If you are a Panthers fan, please don't come to the games, the smell of Elephant dung will stink up the place if you show.

And if Cam is so bad for "charging for autographs", I guess you hate Mark Ingram too since he is contracted with the same sports marketing company

Is Cam trying to grow out an afro? I hope so, because that look is FRESH. Go Panthers, Go Heels!

Stick to commenting on football players OP. You mention Kembas shot percentage but fail to mention he was the only Bobcat (as a rookie mind you) to put up a triple double. You also fail to mention he put up the same numbers as a rookie that four year pro Augustin has averaged. Playing for a lame duck coach on a terrible team with no one to pass to.

We do not like Cam's kind at Alabama U.We do not need any NEGROES like him unless they are receiving or carrying not passing.

We love a good cross burning before we play other uppity negroe players but we love our negroe players that roll that tide.

Roll Tide and go KKK.

Hey, Epic Winner. Ur name should be Epic Wiener.

I find it remarkable (NOT) that much of what is posted on sites like this seem to have a underlying foundation perpetuating racism and envy. Such is the case with BlowTide. I respect the fact that he's verbal about his true nature. As a child I was always taught that a known ENEMY is preferable to a unknown one. He's probably a good ole "Christian" who believes in the "Golden Rule," meaning those with the Gold makes the rules. Perhaps he'll reap what he and others like him have already sown!! No amount of "people" talking about something that MIGHT have happened negates the fact that this young man had a exceptional rookie season. I try to never judge as I know that I TOO will one day be judged. I look forward to Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers and their upcoming season!! Peace & Love

It angers me without end when I see these holier than thou poster calling Newton a lowlife scammer criminal! Get on with your own loser lives and leave the football fans alone! If you can't talk with sense then shut the heck up!

@rolltide, epic winner and blow tide - you are showing your true colors. The Internet serves as your white hood to hide behind. Ignorance breed ignorance. Inbreds 😒
