NFL commissioner not welcome at restaurant partly owned by Beason
A Miami restaurant owned by New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma, Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams and Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason has posted signs saying it will not serve NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
The trio of linebackers, who all attended the University of Miami, partly own a Brother Jimmy's BBQ restaurant in South Florida, and a photo on Twitter shows a flyer taped to the window with Goodell's face reading "DO NOT SERVE THIS MAN."
Beason is the only one of the owners who is not facing any punishment from the NFL entering this season.
Goodell suspended Vilma for the 2012 season for his alleged role in the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal. Vilma has appealed and also filed a slander suit against the commissioner. Williams must sit the first six games of the season after failing an offseason drug test.
According to USA Today, the flyer is also posted inside the restaurant, which opened earlier this month. The report could not confirm which owner, if any, had the flyer posted in the first place.

Guy gets paid to play a game. He chose this profession so he has to abide by the NFL's rules if he doesn't like them then he is free to leave the game. Maybe Beason didn't have anything to do with this but he needs to think about who he associates with.

I don't believe Beason had anything to do with this one. It has Vilma's name all over it.

There's a great Brother Jimmys bbq in Manhattan. I wonder if its a franchised location. As for posters of Goodell not being served, sounds like they are having some fun and letting off some steam. Bring on the season!

Who cares? I hope the restaurant lasts longer than the ones owned by our other MLB from Miami (Dan Morgan). How much attention do you really think Jon pays to that establishment anyways?

Like Goodell would ever step foot in this joint anyway.

Owners of sports franchises cut players, raise ticket prices, stage a lockout for no reason other than greed, collude to keep players' salaries low in an "uncapped" year, use taxpayer money to fund a staduim that they reap all the financial benefits from - "It's a business, they can run it how they want."
Owners of a restaurant post a picture saying not to serve the person who represents the previous group - "What a bunch of entitled jerks!"

Anyone find Beason's fingerprints on any posters ? What are you, 12 ? Think about it !

My thoughts were more along the lines of....
"what a bunch of ignorant fools to think he would really go there", and,
"suspended Vilma and forever-injured Beason sure do have lots of free time on their hands"

Just shows if you don't read the complete article you'll think it was all Beason! The title should have never been posted like that.

Whoever posted on behalf of Rae, that's not funny. You haven't heard his side.
