Fantasy geeks suck anyway. Anyone really care if your fantasy players do good and yet your team loses? Go watch individual sports instead loke baseball where all the fantasy geeks should stay!

Blame Chud for horrible play calling again. Shotgun and Read option the entire game. WTF? Run the fkn ball. Tire out the opponent's D-Line, then that will open up the pass game. Cam is not an elite quarterback. Take the pressure off his running azz by running between the tackles with our running backs.

Cam holds on to the ball too long, incosistent accuracy, bad decision making, and runs way too much.

More quick slants, less deep plays.

The only thing I saw d'angelo do wrong was the fumble, but even that was just a helluva defensive play.
dude doesn't call the plays, and he doesn't block for himself. "fantasy" has ruined the actual true concept of the game. If newton had throw the ball like he normally does on that one play to hartsock......we probably won with williams' -2 or whatever clown fantasy statistic.
He wasn't the problem. Today was all on newton which is a big change from the usual. he just had a bad day. but that happens. coaching was a bit suspect to say the least though. that dive play to williams was set to fail from the jump. more defenders than blockers and they all keyed in on the hand off.
we were severely out coached today and newton couldn't throw the ball at all. anybody calling out professional athletes over fantasy scores needs to analyze their life. seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriously.

not to mention williams is one of the FEW good guys.

Another lost season playing for pride(LOL), and not playoffs.

I play fantasy football and have been a Panthers fan for years. However, the losers that sit there and tweet to Player A, B or C about their performance causing them to lose a fantasy game are a bunch of fricking zeros. DeAngelo maybe didn't need to tweet what he did, but at the same time he has a very valid point.

Er... seriously? 45 minutes after that stinker of a loss, and you rip the fans?
DLo seems to be a good guy from all reports, but I have to question the priorities there.

DeAngelo has more talent in his pinky than all you haters! #34 ROCKS!!

And the true color finally comes out. Hey DW ... Why should you care, you got paid. And just like your owner, all you care about is money. But with your piss poor attitude, no doubt we'll be seeing you on the next broke athletes special on ESPN. And that's the ONLY highlight we'll see featuring your sorry butt!

When your're starting RT is an undrafted player and your RG is the 3rd string player by 2nd Qtr it makes it hard to have a strong offense. Not that our left side of the line did much better....

BTW. I spent over $400 to drive from DC to CLT with my family to watch this game in person so i for one was hoping to see D Will & J Stew tear it up today.

DeAngelo shouldn't even respond to idiots like Cooter who are just looking to get a rise out of their betters.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you, No. 34. Fantasy plays a huge part in the league's popularity, which in turn allows for the TV contracts to feed into player contracts. As a diehard fan, he has not lived up to his contract.

D'will, already had you on the bench! The only reason I have you on my fantasy team is you were the "best available" . . . in the 15th round.
I guess Mr Richardson wasted his 50 million!
Hell, if he would have spent a 100 bucks that would have been wasted too!

no fantasy doesn't. the league was probably MORE popular before fantasy. Guys are watching less games and more highlights and being fans of their local team wayyyyyyyyyyy less.
williams didn't "rip the fans" after a loss. He ripped the clowns that complained that he didn't get enough fantasy points. huge difference. They weren't mad the panthers lost. they were mad he didn't give them some sort of sense of self purpose because they have some sort of emotional stock invested in his temporary success. They aren't even cheering for the guy as fans of him, they are cheering for the guy as fans of themselves.
think about it for a minute, let it marinate.

Here is a hint . . . forget facebook, Twitter and all the other meaningless crap you continually post, thinking your so funny. Then go to work, and get into the playbook! Yes thats probably not a public forum, or on your cell phone where you spend all your time trying to show off your ridiculous childlike humor, but who cares! Remember all those fantasy owners contributed the 50million wasted dollars that you banked.

let's spend a fortune on running backs and not have any lineman who can block!

when talking in the context of the business (not life that is normal to the majority, but the actual NFL business)
that dude earned his extension. the fact that our new coaching staff doesn't know how to properly utilize he and stewart on a consistent basis doesn't speak poorly of them but of the game plan. it's not like that dude lost a step. he's just not getting the ball.
hurney has done an incredible job assembling a juggernaut of an offense around newton with the 3 backs, olsen, smith, and a slew of young promising receivers headlined by lafell. and a respectable offensive line to boot. the problem is....that creates too many mouths to feed. none of those guys are reaching their ceiling (not even smith) because there are so many guys to go around. in theory that should create problems for the defense, and it does at times. but i think it gets guys out of the rhythm of not having the ball.
guys like williams need touches.
Posted by: charlottean | Oct 7, 2012 10:15:58 PM
Lets pay DWill and Stew $80M and give them 10 touches a game! Makes ZERO sense!!!

Never thought I'd witness a team with so much potential talent play so awful. I'm a die heart fan and will always be. But when will you all make a decision to be winners...not only with ball games but your attitudes. Steve Smith has and is the ONLY consistent player who plays with heart EVERY game! You all get paid millions to play a game you love...all I ask is for you to play like your WORTH It. For now, I'll check the scores. Don't feel there's a need to watch you guys until 2013.

Fantasy owners evidently need to get a life. Oink
