Panthers will host draft party at stadium on April 27

The Panthers are inviting fans to Bank of America Stadium to watch Day 3 of the NFL draft while participating in activities in and around the stadium.

The event, which is free to the public, will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27.

Some players will be available for autograph signings while fans can register for a cornhole tournament, listen to live music and tour the team locker room throughout the day. There will also be a Play 60 kids' combine on the field.

Rounds 4-7 of the draft will be televised on screens outside the stadium in the Morehead Street parking lot and inside the stadium on the video boards.

I do not care for the pay-to-read situation. I live out of state and, with regards to the rest of the Observer, I really only care about the Panthers. This sucks that I can't read about them any more other than pay for a whole online subscription.

Read about the panthers on www.wral.com
They usually post info before this rag.

Panthers46 ,I like you refuse to pay ,and other services like Twitter/WRAL/NFL.com etc have the same info & it's free

You guys are right about this pay service, but the Charlotte Observer is hemmorrhaging money, so The McClatchy Company has to come up with something to save the Observer. Trust me, there are ways around it, like using Google Chrome. Read to your heart's content. I am not paying for it either.
The other issue is that this southern newspaper is very sensitive to posts and comments left on threads, so they would prefer to not have any.

Go Panthers...to a winning record! It would only be the team's 5th ever.

good thing this event is free given the $$$ the taxpayers are sharing with Papa Panther.

games should be free to after all the public money they are getting....its an outrage.

oh yeah, i won't pay for this online stuff either....if they keep cutting me off from stuff i'll stop visiting the observer forever.
