Was just reading an article on last year's San Diego schedule. Rated 4th toughest going into the season, 6th easiest at the end of the year.

Every schedule is hard. Traveling to the West coast twice is really the only mild issue here. Whatever, got go win anyway.

I look at this schedule and I predict the Panthers starting 5-0.

there is no good or bad schedule. the good teams do not care. to win the super bowl you win all games, there no easy games.

Which is why Gettleman will take a WR with the first Pick & DT next! (Unless Somebody falls or Somebody leaps in front & takes our Man)

Posted by: TheCatman | Apr 21, 2013 12:45:56 PM

NOway Gettleman takes a WR 1st 100% NOway DT/CB/S.

Posted by: seenthisb4 | Apr 21, 2013 5:07:35 PM

I agree there's NO chance we take a WR with the D being so full of holes.

Posted by: QB | Apr 21, 2013 5:09:03 PM

Catman lay off the Catnip a WR is crazy talk...DT then CB or S then LB or OL and I'm not sure we take a WR at all.

Posted by: QB | Apr 21, 2013 5:11:31 PM

We should take a WR...., DT's,S,CB are filled in this draft we could get anyone to buy into our system with whats already inplace. If theirs not a successor @ 14 then yes go Defense but if their is. Its a must get!and granted im only speaking of a WV player. if not go defense but not vaccarro unless hes Ed reed dynamic which i doubt

Now that Revis is in tampa(sucks bad) you have to wonder if you look at receiver. Revis shuts smitty down. I dont know this was only scenario where i would consider receiver since tampa got him.

You draft according to the best player available, not based on need. If Gettlemen considers Tavon Austin the best player available, then that is who he will draft. Hurney drafted based on need, and with the exception of the first rounds, his drafts were terrible.

Panthers should concentrate their draft picks on defense, offense, and special teams. Other than that, Panthers are in need of little else.

@Kris we have tried picking cheap since Kris Jenkins left and has not worked ,and Gettleman's NYG teams were built up front with DL ,so WR is NOT gonna happen.

Posted by: QB | Apr 22, 2013 1:51:00 PM

You WR dreamers keep dreaming the 1st pick will be DT bet on it.

Posted by: Cam's Entourage | Apr 22, 2013 1:52:02 PM

the first pick is Star if he falls or a Guard! everyone will groan and moan and he'll be a starter for 10 years! Gettleman understands that lineman on both sides of the ball win championships!
