ted ginn kinda cleared up that punt returner job if anyone was questioning.

joe adams is probably calling his agent right now to schedule tryouts elsewhere.

What has Cam been doing since the games ended last season? He really looks bad this year. This guy cannot throw a ball --last year it was way too high and this year its way too low. He throws badly then always has a goofy smile like its so funny to be lousy on the field. Did anyone stop to think that it is Cam who makes the offense look bad?

No one can make him grow up and get real and serious and be a leader if its not in him. He was not an accurate passer in Combine so what does anyone expect. If its true that he really wants to play for Atlanta so bad then let him go. Find a QB please. You cannot win without a passing game.

I kept hoping but don't think its going to happen.

Fickle fan.

Nothing is wrong with Cam. What bewilders me is the fact that this team ignores helping it's franchise QB. Drafting two young DT (back to back mind you) to help Keuchly, but no offensive lineman to help Cam. No young WR to grow with. No young top pick RB to help. Just old, injured has-beens and Division II school guys.

It amazes me the comments people make about Cam without really looking at the bigger picture. He has ZERO help up front pass protection, he has ONE reliable receiver in Smith but he's getting old. He has ONE healthy RB now who's also getting old. They have a terrible OC in Shula. So what do you expect? That's right. You want Cam to do EVERYTHING by himself.

It appears our defense has to not only prevent the other team from scoring points but also must score our points since our own offense can't.

Even though we won, I have no confidence that the offense will perform. Defense is outstanding though. What really pisses me off is when I see Cam Newton up close on the side lines and he is laughing and smiling like he is having a good time and his shitty performance doesn't bother him. They should bench him and start Clausen in the first game to wake his arrogant ass up. Maybe do the same to some of the starting receivers that missed easy passes.

When Cam laughs and smiles on the sidelines, he is wrong. When Cam pouts, he is ridiculed by everyone. No matter what he does, he is wrong. Give the guy a break. Even I know his Oline is no good. I believe fix this area, and the rest will fall into place. He needs time to throw!

you guys are completely ignoring the fact that the defense and special teams (by scoring) took possessions away from the offense. 4 times the offense got skipped a possession.

that limited the number of plays and opportunities to make the big plays that make the stats look better than they actually are.

yes....the offense looked mediocre. but you can't fault them for the good of the defense. that's like blaming dwayne wade for not doing enough in the nba finals.
