Mario Addison expected to start in place of Charles Johnson

With four players listed as out for Sunday's Panthers-Dolphins game, there isn't much surprise to the Panthers' inactives.

Backup defensive end Mario Addison is expected to get the start in place of Charles Johnson, who did not practice all week with an MCL sprain suffered last week against the Patriots.

Addison has eight tackles, a half sack and 10 quarterback pressures on the season. It will be Addison's second career start after the end started the Oakland game in Week 16 of last season.

Ron Rivera said earlier this week Addison, Frank Alexander and Wes Horton will rotate at the position opposite Greg Hardy.

Tight end Ben Hartsock, linebacker Chase Blackburn and guard Chris Scott were also listed as out. The other inactives are receiver Marvin McNutt, running back Kenjon Barner and receiver Tavarres King.

Awesome "flop" by Cam on sideline to get penalty. He did a Miami Heat on the dolphins. LOL.

yeah i don't like that kinda "gamesmanship" but there were several iffy calls that went the other way to offset it.

rivera keeps making the wrong decision (timeouts, challenges, when to go for it on 4th down) and it just keeps going his way. luckiest dude in the league this year. absolutely insane. he got bailed out by cam's flop and tolbert's incredible run on 3rd and 2. cam's showing major balls.

mike mitchell did the exact thing nakamura did last year and nobody will ever mention it again because wallace dropped the pass. funny how those things go.

Yea have to agree. I was yelling at the TV, almost blew it. I thought he had got past those things. Awesome win , but just making hard on ourselves.

steve smith now at 12,033 yards should pass both derrick mason and hines ward next week to slide into 20th alltime.

28 receptions from top 20 all time there also. he plays long enough, he'll be at canton.
