CB Benwikere inactive vs. Falcons
Bene Benwikere, the Panthers' nickel corner, is inactive for Sunday's game against Atlanta and will miss his sixth consecutive game with an ankle injury.
Benwikere suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 5 against Chicago and has worked to get back on the field. He was limited in practice this week but hopeful he would play. Colin Jones and James Dockery will split time at nickel in his place.
Also inactive for the Panthers is guard Amini Silatolu, who injured his knee last week. Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei was already listed out after spraining his ankle last week.
Safety Robert Lester, running back Chris Ogbonnaya, tackle Mike Remmers and tackle David Foucault are also inactive.

Silatolu should be released. He gets hurt every game and then misses the next 4 weeks. Deadweight loss.

If we are to have a chance to win this game Coach you must put Derek Anderson in now, Why will you not at least try to give this team a spark with Anderson ,Listen to the crowd,do it now

Dont you dare put Derek in with 4 or 5 minutes left ,When you know there would not be enough time to pull it out.Is it in CAMs contract to not be benched unless hes injured???????

Can someone please explain why we quit trying to move the ball with over a minute and a half left, field goal range in the mid to high 40s, and it's only second down???

I just dont understand for the life of me why it took Cam over 3 quarters to start being affective,I really do believe we would of won this game had Ron of made the call to send in Anderson, Cam was having a terrible day until the last 10 minutes had Anderson played after the 2nd int. he would of been more effective and accurate. Oh and Olsen`s int. would not have happened if the ball was thrown were he didn`t have to jump for it that`s why it went off his hands. If we are to have a chance of winning the remaining games then Coach Rivera will have to make the tough call to sit Cam or take a chance of losing his job!!!!!!! Ron no one would question you in the least if you sit Cam after his 6 lose in a row but if you dont and we lose 1 more game then you through away the entire season knowing Cam was way off on his passing and you did nothing to try to save the season nuff said.

play calling is nowhere near as bad as it was under chud......
if cam and the backs had ANY blocking, this entire season would be different.
gettleman severely under valued key components of last year (and previous years) success and thought he was too smart for replacing them with actual adequate replacements.
and giving atlanta charles godfrey to deliver intel was just brilliant.

2 things that will greatly improve Cam,Work on ball placement and pocket awareness,
Ball placement: lead your receivers if he has a step you must place the ball were the receiver can use his reach in the direction he`s running not jumping up that will break his momentum ,See this old clicha about if the receiver touches it he should of caught has gone out the window unless he drops a perfect thrown pass. It`s on the QB if the receiver has to jump or slow down and that needs to be said to Cam.
2. Cam has an problem taking to much time reading the field I believe this falls on Dorsey and Shula , Cam needs it drilled into his head you can only look that direction for a split second dont wait for it to develope cause then your on your back or your other reads are covered , So go to your next read , Bottom line is Cam needs to practice the silent clock that I blame Dorsey for ,Dorsey every time Cam gets ready to take the field you should embed in his mind and say remember you only have 3 to 4 seconds to have that ball out of your hands, Dorsey who ever calls in the plays to Cam from the sideline needs to say REMEMBER THE SILENT CLOCK every time after they call in the play and also add in a pump fake to one side then throw to the other, this is basic stuff yet week in and out you don`t see Cam using these tools,Dorsey why are you employed better yet does anyone in this panther organization ever get called out for there group not being prepared?????
5 will get you 10 none of this has been practiced on this week,Prove me wrong then, Its on you now!SHOW ME
