About Inside the Panthers
Charles Chandler, who spent six years as an investigative reporter, has returned to the Panthers' beat, which he so ably covered from 1995 to 2001, for 2008. Charles won a North Carolina Press Award for his work on a number of Panthers' involvement with steroids in 2007.
Stan Olson has been covering the Carolina Panthers since 2002, and writing on various sports for first the Charlotte News and then the Observer for three decades prior to that, majoring in college football and basketball and minor league baseball, with minors in everything from archery to bowling. He also writes a Major League Baseball column for the paper.
David Scott, a 29-year veteran as an editor and reporter at The Observer, covers the Carolina Panthers.
