I rarely eat wings these days. It's not as if I'm sitting at the bar eating celery and drinking water. But I forget about wings. Helen Schwab's piece in E&T Friday reminded me. I loved reading that piece. It wasn't the wings that grabbed me. It was the brackets. All you have to do is put brackets in the newspaper and I'm hooked. You could put anything in those brackets and I'll read. Man, if the Pacific beats Lake Superior in the first round, they have to play the Baltic Sea. Baltic is feisty. I like the upset. I like blue to beat red, but first it has to get past the color purple. I tell you, if Rea Road looks ahead to its second round match with Freedom Drive, Church Street will pound it. As far as wings go, I used to eat a bunch. Man, put some wings on the plate and some Bass Ale draft in the glass and I'm golden My wing Final Four is Township Grille, Mac's Speed Shop, Picasso's and McHale's Honey Pot, with Picasso's winning the whole thing.
