Third and one from their 41 and the Panthers go deep along the left side to Steve Smith. The play doesn't work, but teams with any confidence have to go deep when opponents don't expect them to.
Smith gets single converage against rookie cornerback Sean Smith, who like Smith played at Utah. Steve Smith beats Sean and Delhomme's pass looks right there. Smith reaches out and can't quite catch up. The ball goes off his fingertips.

Could end up costing them the game. But since you are more a entertainment writer than sports writer, I can understand your prospective.

3rd and 1, Panthers go for a bomb when Jake has had trouble throwing downfield all year. 3rd and 16 for Dolphins, Henning calls a draw and gets a first down. I always felt the Panthers fired the wrong coordinator.

I'm fine increasing our passing, but we have passed more than run in the first half. We have the best running tandem in the NFL!!! RUN THE BALL!!!!!!!

I don't ever want to see us try a long pass on 3rd and 1 ever again! We needed to at least get a field goal on that drive. Now they have the lead and are threatening to score again!

Why are they passing so much tonight! This reminds me of the beginning of the season. Why do they keep trying to make son-in-law a star at the expense of the team and the fans? Let him stick to what he does well, hand the ball off!

Stupid playcalling on offense when Henning was here for years.Stupid playcalling on offense now that Davidson is here. The common denominator between these two offensive coordinators? Mr."play not to lose",John Fox. Need I say more?
