« Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad Jake | Main | Alleged affair is none of our business, but accident is »

Yeah, I watched the whole thing...then again, I went to game 15 of the 1 - 15 season as well. I'm a believer in being there during the good and the bad times.

That being said, I could at least in the 1 - 15 season look at our team and say simply "we just aren't any better than that". But this team confounds me. Why won't the coaches pull Jake in the second half today? Why do they call passes at such odd times over the past two games? And so on, and so on...

With Seifert in the end, you knew he just didn't care and as Richardson said "the life was sucked out of the franchise". I'm starting to feel the life get sucked out again and am afraid this coach stubbornly refused to do anything back when he still had a chance to do something about it. Now this season is lost.

I watched all of it because of my love of football and my love of the Panthers. It was hard to watch but I'm gonna keep on watching them 'til the last seconds tick away in January against New Orleans and then do it all over again next fall.

bill cowher

i started packing my bags, called charlie weiss, returned mr. richardsons phone call, sharpened my chin, took a look at next years schedule, called around for a special teams coach, i wonder if matt moore can play?

It's time to start looking for a new QB and until we do, put Matt Moore out there to get some experience through the end of the season. Maybe he can do better than Jake with a little field time.

I'm doing other things with the game on in the background. Just listening but not really into it.

Have you seen enough, Jerry? Or do even you not give a hoot anymore?

I started yelling at the TV when it begain and ended by yelling at the TV. Wait a minute...I yelled at the TV for the entire game. I watched every minute just like I did for every every minute of the 1-15 season. In fact I was at the game for the stadium for all of those 16 games! If you are a true fan, you stay with it so you can remember what it was like.

I watched the whole game because I support the Panthers 100% in good times and bad, but it's going to be very difficult to hand over $1,000 next season for my 2 season tickets if Fox and Delhomme are still leading this team.

Jake doesn't do well against any defense.

Jay Bea

Rex Grossman IS our quarterback...I mean...wait, what?

I still love the team no matter what but it does torture me to watch the games because it hurts so bad to see what should be a playoff contension team let lesser teams run over them. I just want to see one game which we perform well from beginning to end so that I am not spending every Sunday feeling sick to my stomach.

I am at work, watching on the internet screen, so unfornuately, I did see the entire game in espn gamecast. Our QB's are like a Delta pledge class.

Congratulations Mr. Moore, you are head of the Delta Class. Mr. Feely, all games incomplete. Mr. Delhomme, MR. DELHOMME, 0.0

JB, I tried to leave a comment giving props on your comment. Very funny...not sure it is showing up though?

Watched the whole thing. Couldn't let the rest of the DC Panthers fans down here in Eastern Market who made the trek to watch. Hoping to see some momentum change or TRex Ryan eat a cornerback for a snack. Liked the Munnerlyn return. Liked see Jarrett make a contribution. Not much else to like. At least the Redskins lost too so I'll enjoy some miserable company this week before driving down for the Bucs game next week.

Oh, and let me summarize the message boards, the increasingly awful WFNZ and call-in segments of local news sports segments:

Fire Fox, bench Jake, start Moore, hire Cowher. You have a better chance of seeing someone gifting a charitable contribution than any of that happening.

I watched the whole game, and I would like that 3 hours of my life back. That was probably the worst game I've ever seen. I like John Fox, but it's time for a change.

I watched, because I'm a fan, but was doing other errands while I watched.

Jake doesn't do well against defenses

There, fixed it for you.

Ahh....nothing some some good 'ole Charlotte fair-weather fans.

I enjoy watching NFL football ... and the Panthers. At the same time, I have a hard time understanding why the Panthers have NOT given any other quarterback an opportunity. I was hoping for a new q'back at the start of the second half. Not to be. Was I surprised ... nope! There ARE some coaching problems!

Like all of the years the Panthers have been in existence, I watched until the clock read 0:00. It was a horrible game offensively and the coaching staff showed how much confidence they had in Jake by all of the runs they ran on 3rd and medium. It would of been real interesting to see how many yards we would of gained if we didn't pull out a couple of 3rd and longs with runs on the 1st drive. The first pick wasn't Jake wasn't his fault. It was clear he and Smitty weren't on the same page. The pick was the difference in the game in regards to the score. The 2nd pick was forced b/c I am sure that Smitty was going crazy not getting the ball, and the 3rd was aweful which led to yet more points for the Jets. As much as I have supported Jake in the years, it is time for both he and Fox to go. Jake has single handily contributed to the majority of the losses by making aweful decisions with the football. However, the real problem is that we don't have anyone behind Jake to play. Fox is going to go down with the ship with Jake. I thought the defense played okay allowing the offense an opportunity to win. The season is officially over, and it will be a slow, agonizing 5 weeks until the end. I see 5-11 or 6-10 if we are lucky. I expect changes to happen quickly after the year getting Cower in and let the new regime begin. Thanks to Fox for the 7 great years, but it is time for a new voice. In regards to the season, I will be in the stands next Sunday to cheer on our team through another game we should win. Panther fans still support the team, I mean it could be worse...we could be in Oakland, Kansas City, or Detroit!

Dear Jake, I hope you're reading this letter because you SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention that you SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watch the whole game regardless. I am a Panther fan obviously when they play good, but I don't abandon them when they lose. I've been a season ticket holder for years and witnessed every home loss during that fateful 1-15 season, even the last game that year against the Patriots. I've seen worse, believe me.

Tired of Fox,Delhomme,Davison!!Get em outta here!! We want Holmgren or Cower!

I think Fox knows that as soon as he puts Matt Moore in he is admitting defeat to his continual support of Jake. Jake has done a good job over the years, especially with Smith running under his under/over-thrown balls. But for some reason Smith is not doing that anymore. Maybe he has lost a step or two himself at the ripe old age of 30.

Jake has never learned to step up in the pocket let alone scramble. There is no place in the NFL for a QB with lead feet.
