Shooting a taser at the kid who ran onto the field during the Phillies' game might have been extreme. But don't you get sick of people who go to games to get attention?
If you go to a game because you need to be noticed, try out for the team. If you're not good enough, stay home.
I even think doing the wave is extreme and, if you're 12 or older, a waste of time and energy. Look at me. I'm standing. No, I'm sitting. No, I'm standing.
I went to a professional baseball game a week growing up, and never was tempted to run onto the field or, in some other way, announce that I was there. I liked the sport, so I watched.
It didn't seem terribly complicated then. It still doesn't.
