After Charlotte Bobcats' practice Thursday, Matt Carroll shot. He was so uncannily accurate, from almost any distance, that when the ball didn't go in, I was surprised. Every shot was the same: same trajectory, same release, and almost the same result.
I told Carroll: "I'm 5-9, I'm from the Midwest, I had a basket in my back yard, I'm supposed to be able to shoot like that."
"I'm sure you can," Carroll said.
No. No. Thanks. But not on the best shooting day of my life.
