The cell phone ban at the Masters is serious. If there were a TV show called Augusta Law, it would feature security guards confiscating the badges of talkative golf fans.
I love the ban. I wish cell phones were banned from the gym -- except in lobbies and hallways -- the bookstore and restaurants. If you have to talk, find a quiet corner, go to the entrance or go outside.
The ban so much a part of Masters life that when I get in my car and drive away I'm reluctant to pick up the phone.
And this is good.

They pay you to write this stuff? Why not talk about the golfers? Surely there must be something interesting happening.
