Nice scene in Glendale, Ariz., hotel lobby. Walked in as anthem was performed before Chicago-Atlanta game. People in the lobby -- most -- stopped and watched and listened.
Here's a lobby across the street from University of Phoenix Stadium. There's a bloody Mary station, and fans, many of them in jerseys, are drinking before they head to the Arizona-Carolina game. It's hectic, kind of fast.
And, I'd say, 75% of the fans here stopped doing what they were doing and stood a little straighter.
Made you feel good.
That Bears/Falcons pregame was amazing... brought a tear to the eye.

What time are you guys leaving SIMCO on Saturday? We are going to try and be there in the afnortoen sometime. I am so sad that we will miss you guys! You HAVE to email me A LOT and tell me everything! I will be living vicariously through you for the next year until I get there! Are you sure you guys don't want to stay for 2 years???
