Once in awhile a team will remind you why you give it your money and your passion. Sunday was such a day. The weather was beautiful, the football was pretty good and the Carolina Panthers beat Washington 33-20 at Bank of America Stadium.
Carolina quarterback Cam Newton and receiver Steve Smith were fantastic and the defense was good enough.
Victories have been rare in these parts. If you're a fan of the Panthers, enjoy this one.
Hopefully Peterson doesn't run for 250 yards on us Sunday.
