Michael Jordan no, Kansas no, Game of Thrones yes

   I'd be shocked if Michael Jordan was talking about selling the Charlotte Bobcats now. Has to be frustrating to endure sustained losses on the court and at the gate. But the Bobcats knew they'd be bad. They've put themselves in position to draft Kentucky's Anthony Davis, if he comes out. They have only a 25% chance, but that's better than anybody else. He would change everything.

     Give Kansas credit for being the better team late in almost every tournament game it has played. Not a coincidence if it happens repeatedly. But I can't fathom the Jayhawks beating Kentucky tonight. Ohio State has more talent and Louisville plays better defense. The Jayhawks are the least equipped of the three to spring an upset.

     "Game of Thrones" was superb Sunday. First episode of season two. HBO's Sunday night franchise -- "Boardwalk Empire," "True Blood" and Thrones -- is consisently the best thing on TV.

True Blood is a guilty pleasure of mine as well, but it's certainly not up to the level of the other two which stand as some of the best stuff television has to offer. It's fun, it's trashy, but there are a lot of empty calories there.
