Seattle's victory against Green Bay Monday night had to be the end of the replacement refs. So many calls, so many terrible calls, the worst of which was the game's final play. A Seattle Hail Mary; obvious pass interference against the Seahawks; obvious interception Green Bay.
Yet the play is ruled a touchdown, and Seattle wins.
The system doesn't work. Fans invest so much emotion and money in the NFL, and they get an inferior product.
The result was a victory for the locked out refs, a loss for the Packers and a loss for fans.
