FGCU's campus isn't on the Gulf of Mexico. They're several miles inland on some lakes, just south of an outlet mall.

Actually, they are just north of the outlet mall. They are just south of Gulf Cost Town Center -- and outside mall of name-brand stores. The lakes are man-made (although the alligators are real). There used to be several families of wild pigs running around down there, but campus expansion has driven them off.

Regardless, the FGCU community is still proud of our Eagles, even if most people around here are Florida, FSU, Ohio State or Michigan fans.

CBS LOOOOVES early upsets, then they want the "traditional" big boys to win to the Final Four. Ratings, you know, come first.
