I keep hearing now Miami is a trap game for Carolina.
That is, the Panthers are coming off two major victories against two major opponents, San Francisco and Miami, and after Miami they play two NFC South teams -- Tampa and New Orleans.
A game is a trap game because teams are likely to think about what they will do down the road or what they have done, not what they have to do next.
But if everybody knows Miami is a trap game, don't you think the Panthers also are aware?
Carolina might not play as well as it did against the 49ers or Patriots.
Yet I'll be shocked if they don't play as hard.
