Thank you for all your entries. Here's a selection of some of the other better lines we received this week:
“Good news! It turns out your budget did not include trains.”
"Imagine what a great impression it will make when it finally comes through!"
"Rail to the Chief!"
"When Pam said your job was on the ropes, she wasn't kidding!"
"Don't worry.....this says Pam, Pat, and Parks will be here any minute to save you."
"We would much rather have tarred and feathered you- but the cost of petroleum products would have placed us over budget!"
"You should have quit while you were ahead -- oh, wait -- you tried that..."
"Not to worry Ron - Don Reid is praying for you!"
"Relax, you'll die of old age before a train comes by."
"Don't worry, Parsons made up the schedule, too!"
"The Vikings game just replaced light rail as Charlottes' bigget blunder!"
"We're setting you free to make room for the Panthers' coaching staff!"
"It's going to be a while. Would you like a book and a pillow?"

Thanks for the kind words Kevin and thanks for selecting my caption. I have a lot of fun with your illustrations, guess you can tell. I probably work almost as hard as you do but it focuses me on issues that I would probably ignore otherwise. Anyway, I'll keep plugging and who knows, maybe I'll hit paydirt again.Looking foward to the artwork. Keep up the good work. Ken
