Thank you for all your entries. An interesting side note, Mr. Bailey's winning caption was the very first one we received in response to our challenge! Here's a selection of some of the other better lines that came in to our mailbox:
"Whatta you think of my British wardrobe, your Royalness?"
"You speak english really good!"
"Well, what do YOU use when you're not playing with a full deck?"
"What year were you crowned Miss America?"
"I'm often compared to the late Jester A. Arthur."
"And I thought Congress was a tough crowd!"
"1776... 1976, what's two years?"
"No, really I say dumb stuff all the time."
"Decided to wear some European-style clothing to impress you. This is the latest from Jacques Chirac, Paris ..."
"I'm the jester guy!"
"And the punchline is... I got elected!"
"You're giving me a look only a Queen can give her jester."
"I keep trying for 'King George', but they keep calling me something else."
"The way the war is going, I seem to be an obscene jester!"
"Fool Britannia!"
"Mission Accomplished!"
"I'm just a figurehead too."
"My dunce cap was at the cleaners!"

'The war the war is going, I seem to be an obscene jester!' This one is much better and more clever than the winner!

The "obscene" one IS clever, but maybe because of what it implies, it isn't appropriate to print in the paper. The one picked, in my opinion, is the BEST. It drives home the point that W is a doofus without taking the "Rosie" approach. When there is one from multiple readers, I wish the powers that be would move it down, and move a good one up, so that way another clever person will get their name in the paper!!! Looking forward to the next one.
