Thank you for all your entries. It's usually pretty tough to pick a winner from all the great captions we get -- this week was especially tough as a couple other folks submitted captions very similar to the winning one. We liked that gag the best of all the other entries we recieved this week, so picked the variation we thought the best written as the winner. So kudos as well to Kenneth Irving, Kannapolis, and Guy M. Long of Lenoir.
As usual, feel free to discuss any of this in our "Comments" section. Just click the blue link below this post and add your observations, criticisms or additional captions!
Here's a selection of some of the other better lines we received:
"Above all, avoid being dogmatic."
"I read all these intellect reports and still don't feel any smarter."
"Admission accomplished."
"You can execute the office of the president, I nearly killed it myself."
"My advice to you is buy a shredder."
"Say after me: 'I swear to adhere to all intelligence that I helped shape, so help me God.' "
"I swear I don't know what it says, but I can tell you what I believe it says."
"This is a little scary. Remember the last time someone swore by some intelligence reports?"
"I never quite got the hang of this intelligence thing."
"You'll swear it's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."
"Do you swear to tell the half-truth and nothing but the half-truth?"
"Tag, you're it!
Please join us again Monday, Jan. 26, for a new cartoon caption challenge.

Good winner.
I wonder what entries would have been submitted after the Obama/Robert oath bungle.
